Stark County man facing charges after 5 dogs found in horrible conditions

STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – A Massillon man is facing charges after his five dogs were found living in horrible conditions.

Massillon police officers went to Corey Swartzentruber’s home on June 7.

Officers said they found the dogs confined in an area littered with filth, trash, cages, and metal scrap.

According to the report, the dogs were “extremely bony,” had no visible food or water and were ripping open trash bags and eating out of the bags “like a feral animal, not a companion animal.”…
