NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Two men are facing charges after North Charleston Police officers found several open containers of alcohol inside their vehicle during a traffic stop early Monday morning.
Severiano Francisco Felix, 34, of Charleston, is charged with open container beer/wine in a motor vehicle, driving without a South Carolina license, first offense, and driving on the wrong side of the road. Luis Mario DeJesus Osorio, 29, of North Charleston, is charged with open container beer/wine in a motor vehicle.
An officer was patrolling the area of Rivers Avenue and Remount Road around 2:45 a.m. when the officer saw a vehicle driving the wrong way on Rivers Avenue after it left a Sunoco gas station.
When the officer initiated a traffic stop and approached the vehicle, the officer allegedly saw several open beer containers in plain view. The driver and the passenger were removed from the vehicle and detained while officers conducted a probable cause search…
