Red Springs residents raise concerns about Hurtt’s resignation, other issues

RED SPRINGS — Emotions flared during the community-led Citizens for a Better Red Springs meeting on Monday evening.

“We know that we need to address a lot of issues, and we are going to do that tonight,” said Renet McQueen, head of the organization. “The town manager has too much autonomy and together we can change the ordinances that allow this.”
