NORFOLK, Va., (WAVY) — The final defendant in a $31 million coupon fraud scheme was sentenced June 16 to three years and five months in prison.
Sherise Williams, 40, of Palmetto, Fla., was sentenced for mail fraud. She bought counterfeit coupons from Lori Ann Talens, of Virginia Beach, Va. in bulk quantities on 274 occasions for a total of $19,821.34, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Virginia…
