SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A brush fire burning along Interstate 5 in Pacific Beach has prompted a lane closure, officials announced Wednesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the fire was first reported around 12:30 p.m. along northbound I-5, just north of Balboa Avenue near Garnet Avenue.
The fire is burning in vegetation along the freeway shoulder.
