KPRC investigative reporter Robert Arnold to leave Houston station after 26 years

Emmy award-winning investigative journalist Robert Arnold is stepping away from Houston’s KPRC Channel 2 after 26 years.

Arnold announced on his Facebook page Tuesday night that Friday will be his last day at the station.

“After 26 years at KPRC and 31 years as a journalist, I have decided to live life without a deadline,” he said in the post. “I joined KPRC in 2000, and the past three decades have been fulfilling, awe-inspiring, humbling, exhausting, joyful and, most of all, a privilege. I am immensely grateful to everyone who trusted me to tell their story. I remember every face and every living room.”
