Kansas man sentenced to prison for illegal machine gun possession

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – An Overland Park man is headed to prison for nearly a decade following an illegal machine gun possession conviction.

Thirty-year-old Verdell D. Mays was sentenced to nine years in prison without parole on Wednesday.
