NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The river level at Folsom at Highway 40 is currently at 18.76 ft and expected to rise to 20 ft within the next few hours. At Covington along Highway 190, the river will rise to 26 inches.

Even if you don’t get heavy rain at your location, anyone living along any river or in a basin needs to be aware: heavy rain upstream can still flood your area. The Tchefuncte River basin is particularly vulnerable tonight.
