Authorities investigating the disappearance and death of a man whose skeletal remains were recently recovered from a Marrero backyard have arrested a sixth suspect in the case.
Jessica Parks, 36, of Westwego, was booked Monday with second-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping, unlawful disposal of remains and obstruction of justice, according to Sgt. Brandon Veal, spokesperson for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Parks is accused in the death of 37-year-old father of four Eddie Tillman Jr. The Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday did not release any details about Parks’ alleged role in case.
Tillman was last seen on Aug. 16, 2023, according to relatives who say he left his mother’s Bridge City home that night after receiving a call from a friend who asked for his help…
