Juneteenth Events

Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the effective end of slavery in the United States, also known as Emancipation Day or Juneteenth National Independence Day. It marks the day that freedom for enslaved people in Texas was officially announced by Union troops, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Across the Charlotte area, festivals and community events are being held to celebrate Black history through art, music, and conversation.

World Cup Watch Parties – USA v Australia

Bars and brewers across Charlotte will be showing the USMNT’s second match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The US won 4-1 over Paraguay in its first match. The USMNT will face off against Australia on Friday, June 19, in Seattle.
