At least 8 Cumberland County Schools to get new principals in 2026-27

Seven Cumberland County Schools administrators will receive new assignments for the 2026-27 school year, including the principals of the recently closed Manchester and J.W. Coon elementaries, a June 15 announcement stated.

“These administrative transfers reflect our continued focus on aligning experienced leaders with the needs of our schools and departments,” CCS Superintendent Dr. Eric Bracy said in the news release. “Each of these leaders brings valuable experience to their new assignments, and we look forward to their continued service in support of students, staff, families and the community.”
