PUNTA GORDA — Punta Gorda City Council members talked about civility and respect at Wednesday’s meeting, but a few minutes later, one council member got up and left the meeting as a citizen spoke at the podium.
Near the end of the meeting, Mayor Debora Lux asked council members to “be a bit kinder to each other” on the dais during the public comment portion.
