ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Commonwealth Catholic Charities is hosting a free community event in honor of World Refugee Day on June 17 at 7 p.m. at Grandin Theatre.
The event, called Reel Hope, will feature a screening of “Peace by Chocolate,” a movie based on the true story of a Syrian refugee family and their experience resettling in a small town in Canada.
