BOSTON — Two Venezuelan nationals pleaded guilty on June 12, 2026, in federal court in Worcester to their roles in a sophisticated fraud conspiracy that used stolen identities of more than 100 individuals to fraudulently obtain over $1 million in government benefits.
Roman Vequiz Fernandez, 32, and Coralba Albarracin Siniva, 24, both residing in Leominster, Massachusetts, admitted to charges related to the unauthorized use, transfer, acquisition, and possession of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. U.S. District Court Judge Margaret R. Guzman scheduled their sentencings for September 22, 2026.
