When severe weather hits the Baton Rouge region, residents brace for power outages.
Entergy and DEMCO, the largest utility providers for the area, both have online maps that show live how many customers have lost power and when. The maps also give estimated times when power will be restored.

Entergy outage map
You can find Entergy’s outage map here. The green lines represent customers whose power is connected; red lines mark outages.
