NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas National Guard said it will conduct flyovers over Natural State cities from June 29 to July 2 in honor of America’s 250th birthday.
Officials said the flyovers will be made using C-130 Hercules aircraft from the ANG’s 189th Airlift Wing and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from the ANG 77th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade. The flyovers will be a demonstration of military aviation excellence, they added.

Weather permitting, flights will occur on the scheduled days. A complete list of cities is available on the Arkansas National Guard Facebook page. Exact times are known for the cities being flown over, and officials said they’ve organized events to coincide with the flyovers.
Arkansas National Guard Public Affairs Officer Col. Joel Lynch said the flyovers demonstrate national unity.
