UPDATE 10:30 AM – The Springfield Police Department has released information about the crash on northbound U.S. 65.
According to Cris Swaters, SPD’s public information officer, a van spun out of control in the rain and struck a guardrail. There were 10 people in the van, and only one suffered minor injuries.
The crash caused the center and right lanes of U.S. 65 to close. All lanes have since been reopened…
