PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – More families in Southeast Portland now have a place to turn for support.
Multnomah County opened a new Women, Infants and Children — or WIC — clinic Wednesday, expanding access to nutrition education, breastfeeding resources, and referrals to healthcare and social services.
“I am a mom, raising kids is hard,” county chair Jessica Vega Pederson said. “We all need help, we all need support, and that’s exactly what this WIC clinic is going to do, provide safe, accessible and welcoming spaces for the services that are so critical to our families in our community.”…
