CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person has lost their life in a homicide Thursday, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).
Just after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, officers were called to the 6800 block of Ciera Nichole Court. This is in a neighborhood off Valleydale Road.
Officers arrive to find a victim with “apparent trauma”. This person was pronounced dead at the scene by the Charlotte Fire Department.

Authorities have not said what led up to the incident but did say they are not looking for any suspects. CMPD says this was a domestic situation…
