Driver charged with impaired driving after car hit by former Greensboro officer at intersection of East Cone Boulevard, North O. Henry Boulevard, High Point police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The driver of a car that was hit by a marked Greensboro Police Department car last month was charged with impaired driving on Wednesday, according to a High Point Police Department news release.

On May 3, around 2:30 a.m., former Officer Haley L. Maeurer, 25, was driving east on East Cone Boulevard and passing through the North O. Henry Boulevard intersection when she crashed into a car that was turning left onto North O. Henry Boulevard, the release says.

The patrol car hit the front passenger door of the other car.
