ACTION 8 UPDATE: Third person sentenced in credit union ATM robbery in Prattville

PRATTVILLE, Ala. (WAKA) – A third person has been sentenced to federal prison in the 2024 robbery at a credit union ATM in Prattville.

U.S. Attorney Thomas Govan says 34-year-old Dominique Jeremiah Pearson of Spring, Texas, has been sentenced to 77 months in prison after pleading guilty to bank robbery. Upon completion of his prison term, Pearson will serve three years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.

Two others, 27-year-old Onarri Bond of Cedar Hill, Texas, and 35-year-old Xavier Rashad Ross of Houston, Texas, previously pleaded guilty to the same charge. Earlier this year, Bond was sentenced to 52 months, while Ross received a 72-month sentence, to run concurrently with a previous sentence for an earlier bank robbery conviction…
