ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Escambia County commissioners are joining a lawsuit against county clerk Pam Childers.
They voted 3-1 Wednesday night to join the suit as a plaintiff to get a legal opinion on whether commissioners have the authority to determine public purpose in the use of discretionary funds — rather than the clerk.
