Border agent reveals passport clue in Millete murder case

CHULA VISTA, Calif. — The murder trial of Larry Millete continued on Day 19, where jurors heard testimony from Supervisory Customs and Border Patrol Officer Monica Williams regarding the travel activity of the defendant and his wife, Maya, around the time of her disappearance.

Williams noted that the last time Larry traveled outside the U.S. was in July 2018, while Maya’s last travel date was in the fall of 2019.

During her testimony, Williams revealed that the only other record related to Maya was a photo of her Jeep captured by a camera at the Campo border checkpoint on January 4, 2021. This date coincided with a family camping trip for New Year’s Day, as stated by prosecutors…
