Battleship NC to light up for Juneteenth celebration

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WNCT) — The Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington will be illuminated in red, white, and blue on June 19 to honor Juneteenth, the day that marks the end of slavery in the United States.

The illumination will be visible from downtown Wilmington’s Riverwalk, nearby parks, and locations across the Cape Fear River.
