As the nation marks 250 years of independence, residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a full lineup of events from July 2 through July 4, 2026, including a patriotic 5K, community chalk art contest, a Fourth of July parade, pool parties, live music and fireworks. Whether you’re continuing a family tradition or starting a new one, there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the community.

Show off your creativity and patriotic spirit in the community-wide Let Freedom Chalk contest. Residents of all ages are invited to transform sidewalks and pathways throughout The Woodlands into colorful displays celebrating America.
