The Man Who Drowned at Lake Tahoe’s North Shore Has Been Identified as a California Resident

The man who drowned at Lake Tahoe’s north shore on Saturday has been identified as a California resident: 25-year-old Jayden E. Robinson of Highland, California.

The drowning occurred in the afternoon near Incline Village on the Nevada side of the lake. Emergency crews responded but were unable to save the man. Details on the circumstances of the drowning are still limited.

The death adds to what has been one of the deadliest stretches on Northern California’s waterways in recent memory. Since Memorial Day weekend, a couple drowned at Roaring River Falls in Kings Canyon National Park. Two women were swept into the ocean and killed near Santa Cruz. Two victims were pulled from the American River. A kayaker remains missing on Shasta Lake.
