PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A Gresham Hoover Gang member was sentenced to prison on Wednesday after posting videos on social media “threatening rivals,” authorities announced.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon said 32-year-old Shakor Shovontae Ray Holiday was sentenced to more than eight years in federal prison for illegally possessing firearms as a felon. Following his prison sentence, Holiday will be under three years of supervised release.
“The unlawful possession of firearms fuels gun violence and puts communities at risk. This case sends a clear message that those who choose to illegally possess and flaunt firearms—whether online or in our neighborhoods—will face federal prosecution,” said U.S. Attorney Scott E.
