The last time many Lake Oswego fans saw Mia Brahe-Pedersen, she was setting the high school track and field world on fire.
As a junior, she led the Lakers to their third straight Class 6A state championship and won her third consecutive 6A titles in the 100 meters, 200, 4×100 relay and 4×400 relay. She also set state records in both the 100 and 200 that still stand today.
But when an injury wiped out her senior season and slow-rolled the start of her college career, Brahe-Pedersen essentially fell off the radar…
