Some Rain to Start Friday, Then Clearing

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Breezy with some showers or a storm developing late tonight, with a better rain chance to start Friday morning. A cold front will slide over the region and push south Friday morning, bring us some rain. This front will pick up some of the rain from the remnants of Arthur, but that steadier and soaking rain will stay much farther to our south and east. Overall rain amounts for us, generally under a half inch.

Skies will start to clear from west to east by Friday afternoon, behind the cold front, with highs in the low to mid 80s. A breezy northwest wind will contribute to a drop off in the humidity. So, a nice Friday afternoon and evening.
