EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — An Evansville man whose father was killed during a police-involved shooting last year is now facing a felony intimidation charge after investigators alleged he made threatening statements toward a law enforcement officer on social media.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Vanderburgh County, 22-year-old Dredon Everett Nunn is accused of Intimidation, a Level 6 felony, stemming from posts made on Facebook concerning his father, Everett Nunn.
Authorities said police leadership became aware on May 21 of a Facebook “Story” posted by Nunn that included a photograph of him and his father along with a lengthy caption expressing grief over his father’s death and anger toward law enforcement.
