Alcoa City School Board Chair Jim Kirk said the board has decided to “stay with the decision that was made” regarding public input objecting to an elementary principal’s departure. The message came at the board’s regular meeting at Alcoa High School on Tuesday, June 16.
Speaking to community member Elizabeth Klatt, Kirk said the board has held an executive meeting with its legal counsel..
“We did have an executive meeting with our attorney, and we met together and addressed all that you asked us to do, and during that time we decided to stay with the decision that was made,” he said…
