Crews knock down house fire in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — A multifamily home is likely a total loss after crews knocked down a fire on Laurens Street in Cranston.

First responders were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. on Friday. Firefighters had the flames knocked down about two hours later.

A 12 News crew at the scene spoke to Mark Palombo. He said his 70-year-old brother owns the home and lives there along with two other families…
