Juneteenth Jubilee Festival happening in Scotlandville Saturday

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Music, food, family fun, and a celebration of freedom will take center stage as the 2nd Annual Juneteenth Jubilee Festival returns to Baton Rouge this weekend.

The community event is set for Saturday, June 20, from noon until 4 p.m. at the Jewel J. Newman Community Center on Central Road. Organizers are inviting residents from across the Capital Region to come together for an afternoon of entertainment, local vendors, and activities that honor the significance of Juneteenth.
