JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Of the four people arrested in connection with the 2023 shooting death of Jackson State University student Jaylen Burns, just one is still facing charges.
On Friday, the Hinds County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that a grand jury declined to indict Marquis Scales and Jamison Kelly in the case.
