RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A chain across the front door of The Jerk Hut on Zimalcrest Drive has drawn attention to a legal process known as nuisance abatement after Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott ordered the restaurant closed following a deadly shooting.
