SAN ANTONIO – Heavy rain moved across parts of Medina and Bexar counties overnight, leading to flash flooding concerns, road closures and rising water near Castroville early Saturday morning.
The hardest-hit corridor appears to have stretched from eastern Medina County into west-central and northern parts of Bexar County. San Geronimo Creek near Helotes received 4.30 inches of rain flooding highway 471. Radar estimates show 6.8 inches of rain may fallen over northeastern Medina county.
