TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Police homicide detectives say a man accused in a 2019 murder has been arrested after years on the run. Investigators confirmed Mitchell Carter was taken into custody this week in Broward County, Florida.
Carter is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Elijah Lindsey, who police say was shot and killed during a home invasion in Tulsa in 2019.
