RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A Rio Rancho police officer pulled over a man for speeding, but the charges quickly escalated to DWI. It was far from the first time that this driver had been stopped for drunk driving.

Gregory Hagman, a suspected drunk driver, admitted that he had done something wrong.Officer: “You don’t feel like you are safe tonight, then?”Hagman: “I am not going to look at you and lie to you, no.”
He had been through it before, with this incident marking his seventh arrest for drinking and driving. On June 11, Rio Rancho police caught Hagman going 11 miles over the speed limit on Unser near Westside just after 10 p.m. When Hagman got out of his truck, the officer suspected he might be intoxicated. Officer: “You told me you had a drink and you were coming from Marble.”Hagman: “I did.”Officer: “So I want to make sure you are good.
