COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A month and a half after a car was reported stolen out of Fountain, Colorado Springs police say they have captured the suspect and recovered the vehicle.
The blue Toyota Prius was taken at the beginning of May from Rushpink Street in the Lorson Ranch neighborhood. Friday, CSPD motor vehicle theft detectives spotted the car near Fillmore and Mesa Road, with a man behind the wheel and a female passenger.
“During the investigation, [the suspect] eluded detectives during a traffic stop. The vehicle was stopped at a traffic intersection by use of a grappler device,” a CSPD lieutenant said…
