Man arrested after being accused of stealing $60K of merchandise

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Salem police recovered some of the $60,000 in stolen merchandise from a northeast Salem card shop after searching a storage unit tied to a burglary suspect already in custody on Thursday.

Police said that on June 2, the department received a report from the owner of More Flips, a local sports and collectible card shop in northeast Salem. The owner alleged that over $60,000 worth of product was stolen.

Eventually, officers said they identified the suspect as Colt Snyder, 35, of Salem. Snyder was taken to Marion County Jail and faces multiple charges, such as first-degree burglary and first-degree theft…
