Residents across South Arkansas are being encouraged to look to the skies June 30 as the Arkansas National Guard brings its “Fly Over Arkansas” celebration to the region.
The four-day statewide aviation event is scheduled for June 29 through July 2 as part of Arkansas’ observance of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. Arkansas National Guard aircraft are expected to fly over communities across the state throughout the event.
The South Arkansas portion of the flyover is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, and will include Warren, Monticello, Rison, Hampton, Star City, Sheridan, Fordyce, Camden, Magnolia, El Dorado, Hamburg, Lake Village, Arkansas City, Pine Bluff and Perryville…
