NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Two New Orleans restaurants have been featured in Food Network’s top 10 brunches in America.
According to the Food Network website, “Food Network’s Top 10” ranks its top 10 dishes across various categories while chefs provide insight.

Food Network’s Top 10: Brunch list features 10 dishes at 10 restaurants across the country, including two in New Orleans.
Crawfish Beignet at Katie’s Restaurant & Bar
Ranking ninth on the list is the Crawfish Beignet at Katie’s Restaurant & Bar. According to the Katie’s website, the Mid-City restaurant has been a neighborhood favorite since 1984, serving up Creole comfort food and cocktails. The Crawfish Beignet is made with crawfish, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, jalapenos, caramelized onions and a jalapeno aioli. The Crawfish Beignet has also been featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”

Cochon De Lait Eggs Benedict at Commander’s Palace
Taking the top spot on Food Network’s list is the Cochon De Lait Eggs Benedict at Commander’s Palace. This staple New Orleans restaurant serves up a menu prepared by Chef Meg Bickford, combining modern New Orleans with Haute Creole cuisine, according to the Commander’s Palace website. The Cochon De Lait Eggs Benedict features barbecue pork shoulder, buttermilk biscuits, a sauce forestière with roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions, soft poached eggs and a tasso hollandaise.
