Clemons’ sons accept Clore Furniture rocking chair meant as retirement gift
The Rapidan Service Authority (RSA) on Thursday, unanimously approved a memorial resolution honoring late General Manager Timothy Lee “Tim” Clemons, recognizing the longtime utility leader for 26 years of service to Orange and Madison counties.
The vote came just days after Clemons’ death, turning what had been expected as a retirement tribute into a public remembrance of the man board members said helped shape the region’s water and sewer system.
In the resolution, the board credited Clemons with leading major infrastructure work, including the upgrade and expansion of the Wilderness Water Treatment Plant in Locust Grove, upgrades at the Madison Water Treatment Plant, and the initiation of the Madison Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion…
