A woman is dead and police are searching for her alleged killer after a shooting Friday evening at a Houston housing complex, authorities said.
The Houston Police Department said officers were called to New Hope Housing, in the 6000 block of Dale Carnegie Lane near Sharpstown, around 8 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been shot in the upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the woman and the suspected shooter lived in the same housing complex and were in a dating relationship at the time of the shooting. Police have not said what led up to the gunfire…
