JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A Gardendale man died following a crash on Interstate 65 Saturday afternoon, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Alfred Harkley, 48, was critically injured when the Jeep Grand Cherokee he was operating departed the roadway and hit a light pole. The crash happened around 3 p.m. about a mile north of Fultondale.
