MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A Warren State Hospital inmate was arrested in Erie County after allegedly stealing a vehicle and driving it to Millcreek Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
According to a release from PSP-Girard, troopers were alerted at approximately 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, that a vehicle allegedly stolen from the Warren State Hospital grounds by a hospital inmate was traveling on Interstate 79 near 26th Street. Police located the vehicle in Millcreek Township and followed it back to I-79, where troopers conducted a felony traffic stop.
According to the release, the suspect, identified as Thomas Hazen, 30 of Warren, was apprehended without incident. PSP-Girard said it was assisted on scene by Erie City PD, Millcreek Township PD, PSP Erie, and Eddies Collectibles…
