Around 40 participants made tracks around the Mt. Vernon square the evening of Saturday, June 13, for the inaugural Let Freedom Glow 5K and Fun Run. The event included glow sticks, games for attendees and a casual run at dusk—which fully wrapped up just ahead of a severe thunderstorm that included tornado warnings. Proceeds from the event benefitted cancer research. Below are run results.
