New Jersey is awarding $44 million in state funding to improve local bridges, including projects in Somerset, Middlesex, Hunterdon and Union counties.
The Sherrill administration announced 33 Local Bridges Fund grants on June 18, with funding distributed to all 21 counties to repair, replace and reconstruct bridges in need of upgrades.
