Man indicted on murder charge in Saratoga Springs stabbing

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)– A Saratoga County Grand Jury has charged 52-year-old Kyle Baker with murder, after a deadly fight in Saratoga Springs in April. According to the indictment, Baker allegedly intentionally stabbed 44-year-old John Williamson Jr., and then tried to hide the evidence.

According to police, the fight took place near West Avenue and Station Lane around 7:30 a.m. on April 14. Shortly after arriving, police found WIlliamson, who went by the name Clay, bleeding heavily from stab wounds.

Mayor John Safford said the fight was between two unhoused individuals and they were reportedly fighting over money when one person allegedly stabbed the other…
