Albany, Hudson Valley face heavy rain as storm hits Northeast

ALBANY —Steady rain will fall Monday across the Capital Region, though the area will be spared the worst of a storm expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds to much of the Eastern Seaboard.

Starting in the afternoon, the storm is expected to bring rainfall that will continue until early Tuesday morning. Up to 2 inches of rain could fall upstate before the storm moves on.
